Private Lessons Scholarship Information and Form
We are very fortunate to have scholarships available for families in need of assistance with private lesson payments. This is a service provided by the Raider Band Boosted Club. Scholarship applicants and recipients are kept strictly confidential by the private lesson teacher, band directors and the Booster Club Treasurer. In order to continue to be able to provide this service for those with a genuine need for assistance, we ask that only those in financial circumstances prohibiting enrollment in lessons apply. The following criteria must be met throughout the entire period in which a student receives a private lesson scholarship.
Students must:
- Demonstrate a willingness to practice for every lesson, making satisfactory progress as deemed by the lesson teacher and band director.
- Demonstrate a willingness to attend all private lesson sessions for the semester. Missed lesson will not be paid for by the Raider Band Booster Club. (Recipients agree to pay the full price for unexcused absences.
- Communicate with private lesson teachers when they are aware of a future absence.
- Remain in good academic standing (passing all classes).
